We are excited to launch an all-new 4-week preparatory program for all kids who want to join Swim Squad. These 4 sessions are specially designed to give your kids a solid foundation in the skills they need to compete in all 4 strokes. That way, when they join the squad they can immediately focus on competitive training and racing.

We’ve found that often it’s the basics that hold swimmers back—incorrect techniques and unhelpful habits that all of us have to overcome. In just 4 weeks (or occasionally 8) we can sort out lingering problems that have been impeding your kids’ progress, to give them a fresh start and a better chance of improving their race times.

HOW IT WORKS

At the end of the 4 weeks, coaches will conduct a brief assessment to make sure your kids can perform to the standard shown in the video. If they can, we send them straight into Swim Squad training. If not, we recommend re-enrolling in the Foundation Skills program once more.

Swim Squad Foundation Skills is a pre-requisite to joining Swim Squad, but we give you the flexibility to do the Foundation Skills sessions concurrently with Swim Squad training, or to complete them all before joining the Squad—it’s up to you. You can also choose whether to join Foundation Skills once or twice a week, depending on your availability.
